INTERACTIVE BOKERS ADDS OPTIONS TRADING TO MOBILE APKS

“Investors will find it easy to start trading with the IBKR GlobalTrader app and IMPACT apps, as well as the guidance provided by the options tools.

Interactive Brokers has introduced options trading and the Options Wizard and Options Chain tools in the IBKR GlobalTrader and IMPACT apps.

Although the offering will initially remain exclusive to clients, the brokerage firm plans to offer options trading in IBKR GlobalTrader or IMPACT in other entities very soon.

IBKR offers options for educational and in-app resources

Like other famous trading apps like the IQ Option X APK for Android devices, IBKR GlobalTrader allows investors to trade stocks and options via a mobile trading platform. Interactive Brokers offers a special app called IMPACT for ESG-focused investors.

Both apps are user-friendly and include Options Wizard and Options Chain tools that help investors understand the basics of options and how to trade them.

The Options Wizard allows investors to create their own combination strategies. Investors answer a few questions to select the best options strategies for them based on market expectations and their preferences. The Options Chain gives more investors the ability to select a single option, or build a strategy from a simplified view.

Steve Sanders, Interactive Brokers’ EVP Marketing and Product Development, stated that Interactive Brokers continues to create tools to help investors make informed investments and enhance their trading strategies. The IBKR GlobalTrader, IMPACT and options tools are simple to use and provide investors with a way to start trading.

Brokers have been offering new options trading services that are more attractive to retail investors in recent years. Concerns about new traders not being prepared for options trading are a common topic in post-pandemic trading.

IBKR’s new educational resources may help to ease investor concerns. They will also increase investors chances of making a profit trading. This means that they can stay for the long-term, rather than blowing their accounts.
